Centurion South Downs Way 50K

The South Downs Way 50K is a point to point ultra marathon through the South Downs National Park, starting at Matterley Bowl near Winchester and finishing at Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire. Covering 50K, the route follows much of the South Downs Way National Trail across rolling countryside, historic landscapes and open chalk downland.

This trail race features approximately 4,000 feet of climbing and runs on a mixture of established trails, tracks and chalk ridgeway paths. The course passes through ancient woodland, picturesque villages and some of the most recognisable scenery on the South Downs, with expansive views across Southern England from the higher sections of the route.

The combination of sustained climbing, flowing trails and point to point progression makes it a challenging but runnable ultra marathon, showcasing a varied section of the South Downs Way from Winchester to Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
