The Skye Trail Ultra is a challenging 75 mile ultra marathon crossing the Isle of Skye on the famous Skye Trail route, which covers around 79 miles of remote and unmarked terrain. Starting at Duntulm and finishing in Broadford, the course combines mountain trails, coastal paths, rocky ridgelines and steep climbs through some of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes.
Runners pass locations including the Quiraing, Old Man of Storr, Sligachan and Elgol while tackling technical terrain and significant elevation gain across the island. Designed for experienced ultra runners with strong navigation skills, the event is known for its demanding conditions, rugged scenery and true mountain adventure atmosphere.
