Aim for the skies on this exciting race to the summit of Skiddaw–the 6th tallest mountain in England–and back again to Crow Park. For those with the desire and legs, there is a race within a race, a timed ascent from Spooney Green Lane to the summit of Skiddaw, named the ‘Champion of Skiddaw’.
This race is designed to attract all types of runners: fell, sky, trail, mountain, and road. Starting and finishing in Crow Park, the route is a tough and uncompromising ;hill climb' to Skiddaw summit before racing back down again to the finish line in Crow Park.
