The Sidmouth Four Trigs is organised by Sidmouth Running Club and takes place in Sidmouth, East Devon. The event challenges runners to complete a 27K trail race by visiting four trig points in sequence at Weston Cliff, Buckton Hill, Beacon Hill and High Peak. It also forms part of the Jurassic Triple Challenge alongside the Exe to Axe and The Grizzly.
Starting and finishing at the Watersports Hub in Sidmouth, runners choose their own route between the checkpoints while following the required order of the four trig points. The course combines spectacular sections of the Jurassic Coast with rolling East Devon countryside, creating a demanding navigation challenge and a unique trail running experience.
Experienced marshals, well organised checkpoints and excellent event facilities help deliver a memorable race day. All finishers receive a handcrafted Welsh slate coaster, while hot refreshments await at the finish. The event also raises funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), supporting its work in awareness, screening, research and family support.
