The Showground Relays are a team relay event held at Staffordshire County Showground near Stafford. Teams of four runners compete across a range of categories, including open, veteran, mixed, junior, family and workplace teams, making it one of the most inclusive relay events in the region.

Each runner completes an accurately measured 2 mile lap on a course that combines tarmac drives with solid woodland pathways. The relay format encourages participation from running clubs, groups of friends, families and colleagues, with all four team members contributing to the final result.

Set within the grounds of Staffordshire County Showground, the course offers a fast and accessible relay experience on a mixture of surfaces. Its wide range of team categories, social atmosphere and unique relay format have helped establish the Showground Relays as a popular fixture in the Staffordshire running calendar.
