The Shropshire Santa Run is a festive 5K event organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events in the market town of Oswestry. Participants take to the streets dressed in Santa suits, creating a colourful celebration of Christmas with music, cheering spectators and a welcoming atmosphere for runners aged 11 and over.
The 5K route follows fully closed roads through Oswestry town centre, starting and finishing on Church Street. Suitable for runners of different abilities, the event combines an accessible distance with a generous 70 minute cut off. The focus is on festive participation rather than competitive racing, making it a popular choice for families and friends.
Every entrant receives a five piece Santa suit and a Christmas themed finisher medal. Music, flags and a live silver band add to the celebrations, while the central location makes it easy for supporters to cheer runners along the route. The Shropshire Santa Run brings a lively seasonal atmosphere to the streets of Oswestry.
