The Shropshire 4 Mile is Race 3 of the Sexarathon Series, a six race summer competition held across Shropshire and Telford. Starting from The Shropshire Golf Centre, the race takes runners onto the tracks and paths of Granville Country Park for a varied 4 mile challenge.

Organised by Telford Athletic Club, the event contributes towards the overall Sexarathon Series standings while also offering a standalone race option. The series combines a mixture of 5K and 4 mile races across a range of venues throughout the summer.

Granville Country Park provides a mix of paths and parkland trails in a former industrial landscape that has been transformed into a popular outdoor recreation area. Its varied terrain and place within the long running Sexarathon Series make the Shropshire 4 Mile a distinctive fixture in the Telford summer racing calendar.
