The She Strides Women Only 50K is a circular ultra trail race based above Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. Created exclusively for women, the event explores the dramatic landscapes of the South Pennines, combining challenging terrain with a supportive atmosphere that welcomes both experienced ultra runners and those taking on their first 50K.
The marked route passes through woodland, open moorland and the historic village of Haworth, covering approximately 50K with around 1,400 metres of ascent. Varied trails, sustained climbs and panoramic hilltop views provide a demanding but rewarding journey before returning to the finish at Wadsworth Community Centre.
The event features GPS tracking, fully stocked vegan friendly checkpoints, finisher's medals, post race food, baggage facilities and free event photography. Combining spectacular Pennine scenery, excellent organisation and an inclusive women only format, the She Strides Women Only 50K has established itself as a distinctive event in the Yorkshire ultra running calendar.
