Selworthy Stargazer is a 5K and 10K night trail running event held on the Exmoor coast as part of the Exmoor National Park Dark Skies Festival. Starting from North Hill near Minehead, the event takes runners across open moorland and scenic trails within Europe's first Dark Sky Reserve.
The 10K route forms a loop between North Hill and Bossington Hill, including the climb to Selworthy Beacon, while the 5K follows a shorter route using a midpoint cut through. The undulating course is run on established trails and tracks, with a handful of more technical sections adding to the challenge.
When conditions are clear, runners are rewarded with spectacular star filled skies and sweeping views across Exmoor and the Bristol Channel. Suitable for experienced trail runners and those looking to experience night running for the first time, Selworthy Stargazer combines natural beauty, varied terrain and the unique atmosphere of running beneath one of the darkest skies in Europe.
