The Scafell Pike Sea to Summit is a 33 mile mountain ultra that takes runners from the beach at Seascale to the summit of England's highest mountain. Part of the Rat Race Sea to Summit Trilogy, it can be completed as a standalone challenge or alongside the Ben Nevis and Yr Wyddfa events to earn a Trilogy medal.
The fully waymarked route combines coastal paths, trails, mountain tracks and rugged fell terrain with over 5,000 feet of ascent. Professional mountain safety teams, medical support and well stocked pit stops help runners tackle the demanding journey from sea level to the summit of Scafell Pike.
The event is designed for runners seeking a challenging mountain ultra with excellent support and clear route marking. The unique sea to summit format, spectacular Lake District scenery and iconic finish on Scafell Pike make it a memorable endurance adventure.
