Spread some festive cheer at Santa's Scamper, a popular Christmas charity fun run through the Wiltshire town of Calne. Organised by Wiltshire Council, this family-friendly event brings together participants of all ages and abilities for a morning of seasonal celebrations, community spirit and fundraising for good causes.
Starting and finishing at Calne Community Campus, the approximately 4K route takes participants through the town centre, where cheering crowds provide plenty of encouragement along the way. Whether running, jogging or walking, everyone is welcome to take part at their own pace, with the emphasis firmly on having fun rather than chasing a fast finishing time. Santa suits add a colourful splash of festive red to the streets.
The celebrations continue after the run, with festive refreshments, hot drinks and seasonal entertainment creating a lively atmosphere back at the campus. Participants can enjoy the satisfaction of completing the route while helping raise money for worthwhile charities.
