Santa in the City Tuesday is a festive charity running and walking event through central London. Bringing together participants dressed as Santa Claus, the event supports charities and community sports clubs while creating a colourful Christmas celebration in the heart of the capital.
Starting and finishing at Paternoster Square beside St Paul's Cathedral, participants can choose between 3K and 5K routes through the city. The relatively flat 5K course takes in Blackfriars Bridge, Southwark Bridge and the Millennium Bridge, with views of the River Thames, Tower Bridge and The Shard. Both runners and walkers are welcome, with no competitive racing experience required.
Entry includes a Santa suit, hat, belt and beard, transforming the streets into a procession of festive costumes. Illuminated landmarks, riverside scenery and a welcoming atmosphere make this a distinctive Christmas event for friends, families and colleagues raising money for worthwhile causes.
