The Sandown & Shanklin I.O.W Seafront 10K is a coastal road race on the Isle of Wight, starting and finishing near Browns Family Golf and Pluto's Café in Sandown. The route heads out towards Shanklin before returning along the seafront.
Runners follow an accurately measured 10K out and back course primarily along the seafront promenade. The coastal setting and largely flat promenade provide opportunities for quick running, with sea views accompanying runners between Sandown and Shanklin.
The event is organised by MCC Promotions and welcomes runners aged 15 and over. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with trophies awarded to the leading runners, and water, first aid and a bag drop are available as part of the event.
