The Saltford Santa Dash is a festive community running event held in Saltford, near Bath, bringing together families, friends and runners to raise money for local charities. With 5K and 5 mile routes alongside a children's Mini Dash, the event welcomes participants of different ages and abilities.
Starting and finishing at Saltford Sports Club, the 5K and 5 mile routes follow roads and paths through Saltford and neighbouring Keynsham, passing residential streets and scenic countryside surroundings. The children's Mini Dash takes place on the sports field, providing a shorter and more accessible option for younger participants.
Santa suits and colourful Christmas outfits create a lively atmosphere, with entrants able to choose a standard ticket including a Santa suit or a discounted greener option for wearing their own festive clothing. The event has raised substantial funds for local charities, making it a popular seasonal occasion for the community.
