The Sale & Ling Two Tops Dash is a traditional six mile fell race near Cockermouth in Cumbria, taking runners across the steep slopes of Sale Fell and Ling Fell. The route features rough grassy terrain, fast descents and demanding climbs with wide views across the north western Lake District.
Organised by Netherhall AC, the race combines classic fell running terrain with a friendly local atmosphere and junior races throughout the morning. With around 1800ft of climbing packed into a short distance, the event offers a challenging but accessible introduction to Lake District fell racing.
