The St Cuthbert's Way Ultra is a point to point trail running event following the historic St Cuthbert's Way from Melrose in the Scottish Borders. The event offers a choice of 100K and 45 Mile distances, combining long distance trail running with one of Britain's most celebrated walking routes.
Both races follow fully waymarked trails through the Scottish Borders and Northumberland, crossing rolling hills, woodland, farmland and open countryside. The 100K continues to the iconic finish on Holy Island, where runners must beat the incoming tide across the famous causeway, while the 45 Mile event finishes in Wooler after traversing the heart of the route. Both events include GPS tracking, fully stocked checkpoints, medical support and professional race organisation.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal and race memento. Combining outstanding scenery, historic landscapes and exceptional organisation, the St Cuthbert's Way Ultra is one of the UK's most distinctive long distance trail running events.
