The Runnymede Runners Summer Relay Festival is a unique team running event held in Windsor Great Park, welcoming teams of two or four runners alongside a solo challenge and a free children's fun run. Organised by Runnymede Runners, the festival combines friendly competition with a relaxed atmosphere, making it suitable for running clubs, corporate teams and groups of friends. 

The event is based on a scenic 5K loop through the deer enclosure of Windsor Great Park, with views towards Windsor Castle. Teams take turns completing laps between midday and 3:00pm, aiming to record the highest number of laps within the three hour time limit, while solo runners tackle the same challenge individually. The gently undulating trail route provides an enjoyable mix of parkland scenery and runnable terrain.

With chip timing, medals for all participants, prizes across multiple relay and solo categories, free children's races, a festival village and refreshments, the Runnymede Runners Summer Relay Festival offers a fun and sociable day of running. All profits support local charities, adding to the event's strong community spirit.
