Run Whitstable and Herne Bay Autumn is organised by The Fix Events and offers three distances along the Kent coastline.
Starting and finishing at Hampton Pier Recreation Ground, the route follows waterfront paths east towards Whitstable. The 5K turns after approximately 2.5K, while the 10K continues further along the coast before returning. Half Marathon runners complete an additional out and back section before taking on the longer coastal route.
The entirely flat course is run on paths and is well suited to faster racing, with road running shoes recommended by the organiser. It is also wheelchair friendly and suitable for running buggies.
All three distances are chip timed, with instant results available. The course is marked and marshalled, with water stations, medical cover and a medal for every finisher.
