Leeds Santa Dash 2025

Leeds Santa Dash To Launch In December

Brand new Santa Dash comes to Leeds this December...

Leeds will be getting into the festive spirit this December with the launch of the Leeds Santa Dash, a brand new Run For All event that will form the final leg of Kevin Sinfield CBE’s 7 in 7: Together Challenge in support of motor neurone disease (MND) charities.

Taking place on 7 December, the Leeds Santa Dash will start from Leeds Beckett University before finishing at AMT Headingley Stadium. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to don Santa suits and take on the festive 3K route through the streets of Leeds before crossing the finish line to receive a commemorative festive finisher item.

The event is being staged in partnership with Leeds Beckett University and Leeds Rhinos, marking both a celebration of the festive season and the culmination of Sinfield’s latest fundraising challenge. His 7 in 7: Together Challenge will see him run seven ultra marathons in seven days across the UK and Ireland from 1 to 7 December.

Kevin Sinfield said: “Each 7 in 7 Challenge is a huge team effort and it will be brilliant to welcome even more people to take part and show their support for the MND community with the inclusion of the Santa Dash on our final leg this December. Especially in the build-up to Christmas, I hope as many people as possible will be out on the streets of Headingley to cheer everyone on.”

All profits from the Leeds Santa Dash will go directly to Kevin Sinfield’s 7 in 7: Together Challenge, benefiting six MND charities including the MND Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, Irish MND Association, Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and MND Scotland.
