Skipton Rock up n' Run is a summer evening running event in the North Yorkshire market town of Skipton, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Starting from Craven Leisure Centre on Gargrave Road, the races take runners along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, with waterside scenery and views of the surrounding countryside.
The event features 5K and 10K trail races, welcoming beginners and experienced runners looking for a shorter evening challenge. The canal towpath provides a scenic setting for runners building fitness, working towards a personal best or adding a race to their summer training.
Part of the Rock up n' Run summer series, the Skipton 5K and 10K offer an opportunity to race in North Yorkshire, with online entry and registration on the evening. All finishers receive a medal, hot food and a choice of beer or a soft drink, rounding off an evening of running in Skipton.
