The Ridgeway Challenge is an 86 mile point to point Ultra Marathon following the full length of The Ridgeway National Trail from Ivinghoe Beacon in Hertfordshire to Avebury in Wiltshire. The route traces one of Britain’s oldest pathways, passing through the Chiltern Hills, North Wessex Downs and historic countryside landscapes.
The course combines long distance trail running with rolling ridgelines, woodland tracks, open countryside and ancient trackways across southern England. With over 5,000 years of history beneath its route, the event offers a challenging endurance experience on one of the UK’s most iconic long distance trails.
