The Reading Town 10K is a flat charity race based at King's Meadow Playing Fields in Reading. The four lap course starts and finishes near Thames Lido on Napier Road and follows a predominantly paved route with sections across the surrounding playing fields.
With an accurately measured course and largely flat profile, the 10K is well suited to runners looking to chase a quick time or target a personal best. Around 70% of the route follows pathways, with the remaining sections on field, providing a straightforward and accessible course through the riverside setting.
The event supports Sport in Mind and welcomes runners aged 15 and over. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with trophies for the leading runners, while facilities at the event include baggage, toilets, changing facilities and water around the course.
