Scotland Coast to Coast is a 100 mile multisport challenge crossing the Scottish Highlands through some of the country's most dramatic landscapes. The journey combines 21 miles on foot with 78 miles of cycling and a final one mile kayak, passing locations including Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness, Glen Coe and Glen Nevis.
Runners and trekkers cover 21 miles across two distinct sections, beginning with a 7 mile run before tackling a demanding 14 mile mountain section later in the challenge. Part of the route follows the West Highland Way, bringing trails, climbs and rugged Highland terrain into an endurance challenge where the running comes alongside substantial cycling stages.
The full 100 mile journey can be completed in one day or split across two days, with the two day format stopping at Invergarry before continuing towards the west coast. The course is fully waymarked and supported by marshals and event staff, with the final mountain section leading participants towards a one mile kayak and the coast to coast finish.
