The Hartlepool Race for Life 5K brings runners, walkers and families together on the North East coast to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Open to all abilities, the event focuses on participation, community spirit and supporting life saving cancer research.
Starting on Hartlepool Promenade, the 5K route follows the seafront before looping back via nearby roads and returning along the promenade path to the finish. The course is largely flat and offers attractive coastal views throughout, making it suitable for first time participants as well as regular runners.
