The Pressendye Hill Race takes place near Tarland in Aberdeenshire on the eastern edge of the Cairngorms. Organised by Deeside Runners, this classic up and down hill race covers around 9K with approximately 450 metres of climbing on estate tracks, moorland paths and open hillside terrain leading onto the broad Pressendye ridge.
The course is known for its steep opening climb before becoming more runnable across higher ground with expansive views over Royal Deeside and the surrounding hills. A fast downhill return and friendly evening race atmosphere make it a popular Scottish hill race for both experienced hill runners and those trying hill racing for the first time.
