The Polesden Lacey Trust 10K is a free monthly trail run through the countryside surrounding the National Trust's Polesden Lacey estate near Dorking. The circular route explores the estate and neighbouring Ranmore Common, providing an informal way to experience the Surrey countryside on foot.
Runners follow a permanent waymarked 10K course across a mixture of surfaces, including trails, mud, gravel and uneven ground. The route is not marshalled, so participants follow the permanent course markers as they make their way around the estate. With varied terrain and a rural setting, the run provides an accessible trail challenge for a wide range of abilities.
The event starts from the main visitor car park and takes place as an informal run rather than a conventional organised race. Dogs on leads are welcome, and the relaxed format makes it a sociable way to explore the estate while completing a scenic 10K countryside route.
