The Piece of Cake Trail Run is a trail running event organised by How Hard Can It Be Events and based at Carding Mill Valley in the Shropshire Hills. The event offers 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon distances, taking runners across the dramatic landscapes of the Long Mynd within the National Trust estate.
Starting and finishing at Carding Mill Valley, the routes follow fully marked trails through rugged hills, open moorland and scenic valleys. The Half Marathon completes a single loop, while the Marathon covers the same demanding circuit twice, creating a rewarding endurance challenge with significant climbing and sweeping views across the Shropshire countryside. Runners are advised to carry essential kit, including water, with well stocked aid stations positioned along the course.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal, with friendly marshals supporting runners throughout the event.
