The Summer Marathon & Half Marathon is a flat trail event following the River Thames between Walton on Thames and Hampton Court. Starting from Xcel Sports Hub Stadium, runners complete laps along the riverside towpath on an accurately measured and UKA certified course.
The off road route follows wide riverside paths with no significant elevation change, making it ideal for runners chasing a personal best or enjoying a scenic marathon or half marathon. Marathon runners complete eight laps, while half marathon runners complete four laps of the same course.
With a welcoming atmosphere, finisher medals and a fast, accessible route, the Summer Marathon & Half Marathon provides an enjoyable trail running experience beside one of England's best known rivers.
