The Manchester Freddie Purrcury Run is a themed 7 hour endurance event organised by Phoenix Running to celebrate the life of Freddie Mercury. Held at Alexandra Park in Oldham, runners can complete as many laps as they choose within the event time limit, from a single 3.28 mile lap through to an ultra distance.
The mixed terrain course follows a 3.28 mile loop through Alexandra Park, featuring predominantly tarmac paths with challenging climbs and descents. Runners have access to a well stocked aid station throughout the day and can stop after completing the distance that suits their goals.
