Pewsey Vale Ultra is a point to point style ultra distance race starting at Linkenholt Activity Centre near Andover. The route follows the Pewsey Vale Circular, linking trails and footpaths across Wiltshire and North Hampshire in a continuous long distance loop.
The course covers 125K of mainly off road terrain with a mix of chalk downland, farmland tracks and rural trails. The profile includes steady climbing and long runnable sections, with varied underfoot conditions throughout the day and night.
Runners are supported with fully marked navigation, GPX files and regular aid stations positioned at intervals along the route. The event is designed as a sustained endurance challenge, requiring pacing and self management over a full ultra distance effort.
The race includes a 24 hour cut off and finishes back at Linkenholt, with full event support and checkpoints providing food, drinks and medical cover throughout.
