The Peterhead 3K and Junior Mile Series is organised by Peterhead Athletics Club at Peterhead Lido. The series features a 3K mixed terrain race alongside Junior Mile events for younger athletes, with races taking place regularly throughout the spring and summer.
Runners in the 3K follow a short mixed terrain course around the Lido area, with the event welcoming athletes of all abilities. Participants can compete across the series, with their three fastest accumulated times counting towards the overall standings and prizes awarded across a range of categories.
The Junior Mile races provide separate events for Under 12 and Under 16 athletes, giving younger runners an opportunity to compete over the mile distance. The series is licensed by Scottish Athletics, with pre entry required for each individual race.
