|Distance||10K + other events: Fun Run|
|Start postcode||OX1 3RF|
The event was started in 1982 by local runners as a fun run to raise funds for muscular dystrophy and still to this day all profits from the race go to Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK).
The run now attracts up to 6,000 runners every year – including serious athletes, the casual runner and fun runners. The unique route is the only closed-road City Centre 10k in Oxford with a glorious stretch along the River Cherwell and finish in the University Parks. In 2019, the run was awarded Best 10k in South England by the Running Awards.
The junior 3K starts at 9.15am.
