The Northern AC Winter Road Series brings runners together in Ramsey on the Isle of Man for six evenings of road racing throughout the winter. Organised by Northern Athletic Club, the December event is the third race in the series, with both individual entries and league competition available.
Runners can choose between a 1.7K single lap race and an officially measured 5K covering three laps of the road circuit. Both races are open to runners aged 16 and over, with the shorter race starting first. The repeated course gives competitors a chance to compare performances and work towards faster times throughout the series.
Race registration takes place at Ramsey Swimming Pool, and reflective high visibility clothing is compulsory. Competitors must provide marshalling support for at least one race, while completing five of the six events qualifies runners for the league standings.
