The Morecambe Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K bring three road race distances together on routes along the Morecambe coastline. All races start and finish on the promenade near Bare Methodist Church, creating a scenic seaside event with long stretches beside Morecambe Bay.
Marathon and Half Marathon runners follow the promenade before heading through Heysham Village and along the cliff path, then return to the seafront and continue towards Bolton le Sands. The Half Marathon completes the route once, while Marathon runners cover two laps. The 10K shares the opening section of the longer races before finishing back near the start.
Runners can choose from the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, making the event suitable for a range of distances and experience levels. The coastal course provides extensive promenade running alongside sections through the surrounding area, with water stations positioned around the longer routes and a shared finish beside the Morecambe seafront.
