The Millbrook Monster 10K is a challenging multi terrain race organised by Crazy Legs Events in partnership with Hyde Village Striders. Starting and finishing at Staley Cricket Club in Millbrook, the event follows a demanding one lap course through Stalybridge Country Park and the surrounding moorland.
The route combines rugged trails with short road sections as it climbs onto the hills above Stalybridge, tackling steep ascents, uneven terrain and rewarding descents through beautiful countryside. Spectacular views across the surrounding landscape make this a memorable off road challenge for runners seeking a demanding mixed terrain course.
Held under Trail Running Association and UK Athletics rules, the Millbrook Monster 10K features chip timing, category and team prizes, a friendly club atmosphere and a finisher's chip muffin voucher. Its combination of varied terrain, scenic surroundings and excellent organisation has made it a popular fixture in the Greater Manchester running calendar.
