Yorkshire Coast 10K & Fun Run

The Yorkshire Coast 10K is a popular road race based at Scarborough Spa, with a coastal course showcasing some of the best known sights along the town's seafront. The event welcomes runners of a wide range of abilities and takes place alongside a 5K and Fun Run, creating a full morning of running on the Yorkshire coast.

Starting at Scarborough Spa, the 10K heads around South Bay, passes the harbour and continues around the headland towards North Bay. Runners then pass through the Open Air Theatre before making their way back towards the Spa and the finish. The predominantly flat coastal setting makes the course accessible while providing plenty of interest and sea views throughout the race.

Run For All organises the event with a marked course, on course hydration, medical support and results available following the race. The start and finish at Scarborough Spa provide a central event base, while the combination of coastal scenery, prominent Scarborough landmarks and an established 10K distance makes this a distinctive fixture on the Yorkshire road running calendar.
