The Maverick Peak District X-Trail takes place from Bakewell Showground and follows ultra distance routes through some of the Peak District’s most iconic landscapes. The courses pass through areas including Bamford, Hathersage, Curbar, Froggatt and Stanage, combining high moorland, river valleys, rocky trails and historic trackways across varied terrain.
Runners can choose between 50K and 100K Ultra Marathon distances, with both routes designed to provide a challenging endurance experience across the national park. The event features long climbs, technical trail sections and wide countryside views throughout one of England’s best known trail running regions.
