The Marwell 10K is a distinctive road race starting and finishing within the grounds of Marwell Zoo near Winchester. The event combines a countryside running challenge with the opportunity to race through one of Hampshire's best known attractions while supporting Marwell Wildlife and its conservation work.
Runners follow an undulating 10K route into the surrounding Hampshire countryside, including a climb towards Owslebury village. The course then returns to Marwell for a final loop through the zoo before the finish, creating a varied and memorable challenge for runners.
Organised in partnership with Hedge End Running Club and supported by local volunteers, the race has a strong community atmosphere. Every finisher receives a bespoke wildlife themed medal, while entry also includes admission to Marwell Zoo after the run, adding something different to the race day experience.
