The Lakeland Trails Coniston event offers Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K trail races in the heart of the Lake District. The routes follow fully marked footpaths and bridleways around Coniston Water, taking runners through some of Cumbria's most celebrated landscapes.
The Marathon completes a full circuit of the lake, passing Tarn Hows and Beacon Tarn while offering views of Coniston Water and surrounding fells including the Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam and Dow Crags. With shorter distances also available, the event combines scenic trail running with the distinctive mountain and lakeside scenery of the Lake District National Park.
