A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where runners must consecutively run the distance of 6.7056km (4.167 miles) in less than one hour.

The Backyard Ultra was created by Gary 'Lazarus Lake' Cantrell. It is a form of ultramarathon race where runners must consecutively run the distance of 6.7056km (4.167 miles) in less than one hour. Runners who are not back at the start line for the next lap are disqualified. There can only be one winner and all other runners will receive a DNF.
The event is for runners of all abilities and is a great opportunity to really test yourself and see how mant laps you can complete.
