Race 4 of the Maldon 5K Handicap Series returns to Maldon Promenade for another evening of friendly and competitive racing. Organised by Tiptree Road Runners, the five race summer series is designed to give runners of different abilities the chance to compete together using a handicap format that creates exciting finishes and a welcoming atmosphere.

The accurately measured 5K road course follows the flat Promenade route, making it ideal for runners looking to improve their fitness or chase a fast time. The handicap system sees runners set off at different times based on their predicted finish time, with the aim of bringing the field together as they approach the finish.

As the fourth race in the series, this event offers another opportunity to strengthen overall standings before the season finale. Alongside the competitive element, the Maldon 5K Handicap Series is well known for its supportive community spirit and its commitment to raising funds for local charities.
