The Lucky Dip Challenge is a six hour running event held at Cyclopark in Gravesend, Kent. Organised by Runbelievable Challenges, it gives participants the opportunity to complete a distance of their choice while earning a finisher medal selected from previous events.
Runners follow a 3.28 mile Lightning Bolt loop using a mixture of trails, footpaths and tarmac pathways, with some elevation gain on each lap. Participants can complete as many laps as they wish within the six hour challenge, making the event suitable for distances ranging from a single lap to a marathon or ultra marathon. Each completed lap is recorded using a punch card, and runners choose when to finish.
A well stocked base camp provides drinks, snacks and encouragement throughout the event. Every participant completing at least one lap receives an official finishing time and a medal of their choice. Facilities at Cyclopark include toilets, showers and a café, providing a convenient base for runners and supporters.
