Longworth 10K

The Longworth 10K is a long established village race through the Oxfordshire countryside. Starting on the eastern edge of Longworth, the route follows the ridge before descending towards the River Thames and later returning to finish outside Longworth Manor.

The course covers a varied mixture of gravel tracks, grass and dirt paths, the Thames Path, concrete farm tracks and bridleways. After following the river, runners leave the Thames Path and climb back towards the village via the Yellow Brick Road before completing the final section from Hinton Waldrist.

A kids fun run for primary school children and their supporters takes place alongside the main event. The Longworth 10K is organised by Longworth Runners and raises funds for Longworth Primary School and HALF, with its village setting and countryside course forming the basis of the event.
