Leighton 10K

The Leighton 10K is a friendly multi terrain race organised by Leighton Fun Runners and held in Leighton Buzzard. Starting and finishing in Pages Park, the 10K route combines public roads, footpaths, parkland and trails around the town, creating a varied course that remains suitable for road shoes.

The event is run entirely by experienced volunteers and welcomes runners of different abilities. Roads remain open to traffic, but the course is fully marshalled, with runners guided at crossings and other key points along the route. Chip timing is built into the race bib, with live results available and finishers receiving their gun and chip times by SMS after completing the course.

Race HQ provides toilets and changing rooms, while parking is available close to the start and finish. Medical support is stationed at the finish, post race refreshments are available, with voluntary contributions supporting LB Mencap, and photographers capture runners around the course. Every finisher receives a medal, while trophies are awarded to leading male, female, team and age category runners.

As an ARC permitted event with a welcoming club atmosphere, varied terrain and straightforward race day facilities, the Leighton 10K offers an enjoyable local race experience while also supporting a local charitable cause.
