Kent Christmas Cracker brings festive running to Betteshanger Country Park near Deal, welcoming runners and families for a morning of Christmas themed races. Organised by Nice Work, the event combines competitive running with a friendly atmosphere, encouraging participants to dress in festive costumes.
The main 5 mile race follows two clockwise laps of a flat, traffic free tarmac circuit, making it suitable for runners targeting a personal best. A shorter 2 mile fun run completes one large loop, while the 1K junior race follows an out and back section of the track. The range of distances provides opportunities for experienced runners, beginners and younger participants.
Finishers can look forward to a bespoke medal, with trophies and prizes recognising leading runners in the main race. Free race photographs and festive encouragement add to the occasion, while the event also raises funds for Shelter and its work supporting people affected by homelessness.
