The Bedgebury Backyard Ultra is the fourth and final event in the Kent Backyard Ultra Series, bringing the unique last one standing format to the spectacular trails of Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest. Organised by Hellfire Events, the race welcomes everyone from first time backyard runners to experienced ultra endurance athletes.

Following the classic backyard ultra format, competitors complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour on the hour, continuing until only one runner remains. The wide forest trails and gently rolling terrain encourage a steady rhythm while providing an enjoyable challenge both during daylight and through the night. Every completed loop contributes towards competitors' overall series standings.

Runners can choose between the full Backyard Ultra or the 7 Hour Challenge, with every participant earning a finisher medal after completing at least one loop. Bronze, silver, gold and series buckles reward key achievements, making the Bedgebury finale a fitting conclusion to one of the South East's most distinctive endurance running series.
