This guided ultra run follows a 30 mile route along the Jurassic Coast and Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, starting and finishing by the beach at Studland Bay near Swanage. The course begins inland along the Purbeck Way before climbing towards Corfe Castle, then continues across ridgelines and coastal trails with sweeping views of the coastline.
The route includes varied terrain such as woodland paths, open hill sections and coastal tracks, with steady climbs and descents throughout. Key sections pass landmarks including Kimmeridge Bay, Chapmans Pool, Durlston Head and Swanage, before finishing back at the coast near Old Harry Rocks.
Led by an experienced ultra runner, the event is run at a social pace as a group rather than a race, with full route support and guidance throughout. It is designed as an accessible introduction to ultra distance running while still delivering a challenging and scenic long day out on foot.
