The Ivybridge 10K is a popular South Devon road race organised by Erme Valley Harriers on quiet country lanes around Ivybridge and Bittaford. The route heads through rolling countryside beneath the edge of Dartmoor with a challenging climb towards Moorhaven before returning towards the town.
Despite the early hills, the final 6K is largely downhill, making the race well known for quick second half running and strong finish times. The combination of rural scenery, undulating roads and a fast closing section has made the event a long standing favourite in the Devon racing calendar.
