The Irchester Spooktacular takes place at Irchester Country Park, offering a fun and atmospheric night time trail run with 5K and 2K options.
Both routes follow established woodland trails and tracks within the park, creating an enjoyable off road experience in a unique evening setting. The courses are fully marked and marshalled, allowing runners to focus on the run while taking in the surroundings.
The event has a strong Halloween theme, with fancy dress encouraged and a lively, social atmosphere throughout. Runners will encounter themed marshals along the route, adding to the experience and making it suitable for all ages and abilities.
The terrain is mostly hard packed trail, making it accessible for both road and trail shoes, although runners will need to bring a head torch due to the night time setting.
