Howletts Cheetah 5K offers the unusual opportunity to run through Howletts Wild Animal Park before it opens to the public. Organised by Nice Work in support of The Aspinall Foundation, the race follows a multi terrain course through 90 acres of ancient parkland.
The undulating 5K takes runners through areas of the park that are home to more than 45 species of rare and endangered animals, including elephants, gorillas, tigers and lions. The early start provides an exclusive experience before regular visitors arrive.
Every finisher receives a bespoke medal, while race entry includes free parking and full admission to Howletts Wild Animal Park for the remainder of the day. Friends and family can receive discounted admission. The event supports The Aspinall Foundation's international conservation and rewilding work, with this edition highlighting its work with endangered cheetahs.
